About Familiar Faces Band:
Familiar Faces Band was formed in the summer of 1990 by the famous entertainer, Jimmy Church from Nashville, TN. Jimmy Church combined the idea of a dance/party live band that could play the best of the 60's, 70's and Top 40, with twirling horns, tight lead and background vocals and a driving rhythm section. Knowing that he needed someone to lead this high-energy band, he recruited his son, Tim Gaines-Church, who became the lead vocalist and keyboard player for Familiar Faces Band. Since then, Familiar Faces Band has become one of the busiest live bands in the Southeast, playing anywhere from Chicago to the states of Kentucky, Alabama, and Florida for private company parties, frat parties and weddings. Familiar Faces Band also bring their own sound production and lights to ensure their audiences of a great listening and visual experience.
Besides playing country clubs and specializing in wedding receptions, Familiar Faces Band also performs at corporate conventions, major college shows, and night clubs.
